Aj and Junior settling down in the South

I still can’t believe we moved down south! I talked so much about my doubts and uncertainity so it’s funny how I did a quick turn around. Sometimes life just presents you with an opportunity and you either grab it and run with it or dig your heels in and stand your ground…

All things considered, moving down south has been better than I expected. We decided to simplify a number of things which helped, however, come September it’s going to be interesting time again and I just pray it sorts itself out before we get there!

New beginnings… new job, town, nursery, school…

The last two month have been a whirlwind! I don’t even know where to start…

Well, I do actually, it all started with this post where I had a bit of a rant about long distance relationships! Well hubby read it and he wasn’t pleased at all! And that’s how it all began!

Next thing I knew, I found myself (and my family) in Hertfordshire!

Yes! We’ve moved down south!

Toddler milk vs Cow milk for a 1 year old

I was so looking forward to switching to cow’s milk when Junior turned 1! I won’t have to worry about buying formulae and we’d just carry on using the family milk – we would have to switch to full fat whole milk of course, because of him, but I wasn’t complaining about that!

Now, all my dreams have been shattered…

My little man is no longer a baby!

Junior turned 1 over the weekend…

I still can’t believe it if I’m honest! I kept checking to make sure the date was right! I know I say it all the time but this year really is flying by too quick!

It was also my birthday on Sunday so we figured we’d kill two birds with one stone and make life easier for us all. It’s not like Junior is going to remember his first birthday anyway, right?

February! My Favourite Month in the Year!

We’re in February! This is my favourite month in the year because I have sooo much to be thankful for this month! This also tells me the year is well and truly under way, especially as it seems like we just celebrated Christmas!
