Standon Calling Family Festival 2016

Looks like we’ll be going our first family festival in July! How exciting!

Earlier in the week I got asked if I’ll be interested in attending the Standon Calling Family Festival 2016 and I was like where do I sign up! These are all part of the things I used to miss living in the north I tell you – networking and family events.

Standon callingThe family programme for 2016 does seem to be lined up with a number of activities for kids, teenagers and grow ups so there’ll be something for everyone.

There’ll be musical talents including Jess Glynne, Kelis, Suede, The Hives and more.

Children authors Alice Hemming and Tamsyn Murray will be there to read a selection of their own books as well as run some craft workshops.

This year Standon Calling will also be introducing a baby and toddler zone which will offer baby yoga, massage, a mult-sensory rave as well as toys, games and a chill out zone.

The weekend tickets are now on sale starting at Β£137 for adults and Β£20 for 4 – 12 year olds and Β£20 for under 3s.

Oh and all of this will take place at Standon, about 30 miles from London, the postcode is SG11 1EE.

One of my colleagues said they’ve gone for a number of them in the past (been running for about 5 years now or so) and they’ve always found it fun especially with the kids. With things like this I’m always a little overwhelmed due to all the different activities to do but I’ve promised myself I’m just going to go and have a good time – and take lots of pictures! No pressure…

If you’ll like to find out more about the invite visit the website www.standon-calling.com.

Have a lovely weekend!
