So this past week has been a lovely week for my family! Not only was it my boo’s birthday, but we also welcomed a new member to my family! I am now an aunty for the second time! And of course, lets not forget it was Father’s day too!

So I figured it was time to get a new changing bag from the boring old Mothercare bag I first bought when we did our first baby shopping. Heaven knows why I picked such a boring black bag, oh wait, I know, I wanted something my hubby could carry as well… Now, those days are gone, now I want to go back to being a yummy mummy! Back to Reality – Work
So my 9 months maternity leave has come to an end…
So I go back to work…
So I leave Anjie with her grandma…
I will be strong! I will officially become a working mum!
6 Months and We Crawling and Teething!
My little baby is 6 months today!! My goodness where has time gone… I’m just so thankful to God for how far we’ve come! I know we’ve had it pretty easy with this girl, all things considered! She is an absolute darling most days! Yes, she gets cranky every now and then, we’re still trying to get the hang of weaning and she’s still not sleeping through but most times she’s really only up about 2-3 times between 7pm-8am so not all bad… . I’m sure I’ll be singing a different tune about sleeping through when I get back to work in August but till then, I’m just going to enjoy what time I have left!
So what have we achieved now that we’re 6 months old? Crawling and Teething that’s what!
Happy One Month Anniversary to my Nephew Jay-jay
Yes! My first nephew and second grandchild in the family, Jay-jay is a month old today!!
Although Jay-jay was a tad bit early (6 weeks to be exact), he’s proving there’s no stopping him! His growing everyday and delighting his mummy, daddy and grandparents non-stop! Although, his apparently giving them some sleepless nights already! The cheeky little man!
We’ll just So thankful to God for all He has done and what He will continue to do! I just can’t wait to meet and give Baby Joisah a big massive Aunty cuddle! And I bet his cousin Anjie can’t wait to meet him either! Hopefully in a few months! Can’t wait…
In the meantime, we’ll just have to make do with pictures instead, and yes, I have gotten consent! Isn’t he just a cutie!
Anjie at 16 weeks and Some Great News!
This past week as been pretty busy for me! But busy in a lovely way!
First off, my sister gave birth last week thursday to a lovely baby boy! So now you can call me Aunty Tola! We’re all so thankful because it wasn’t an easy pregnancy but God saw her through!
Also I’ve been working on a friend’s wedding website for Kenny & Voke, Voke was Abby’s best man at our wedding so it was fun doing it for them! Only wish we could be there for the wedding, but sadly can’t make it…
Anjie has been acting up a bit this past few weeks, for one thing, our routine is now a bit shaky, but on a plus she’s sleeping a bit better now, waking up just once between 7.30pm and 5.30am, which is always a good thing! I’m hoping its a growth spurt because she’s eating more during the day and sleeping less but who knows… We’ll continue to see how it goes!
