So my Anjie baby turns 17 months today! I honestly don’t know where the time has gone! This past few months have been pretty busy for me too – work and all, but hopefully everything should have settled down now! That is my excuse for not updating my blog as often as I would have liked over the past few months… But to more interesting news, what have we been up to?

Anjie at 16 months! We’re Swimming again!
I’m still trying to get back into blogging but it’s hard! There’s just not enough hours in the day… But we’ll get there! In the meantime, I have definitely been very picture happy, so I’ll be making up with loads of them!
We’ve go another Omoniyi baby in the family! That’s another little cousin for Anjie to play with when the young man gets older. Congrats to you guys once again if you’re reading this! So while we were meeting baby Omoniyi, Anjie also caught up with JJ! Now that was funny to watch, they were playing together and running after each other, well running and crawling… And singing
What have we been up to – Easter, Spring and all
So, I’ve been feeling very guilty about not blogging recently… It’s just been so busy around here! First we had some lovely friends over from Nigeria – they were around for about 2 weeks. Then we’ve been having other friends around (or going to see friends) for most weekends in the past 2 months! We got to spend Easter in Scotland which was fun! Lovely countryside, just like North Wales. Anjie loved spending time with her Aunt & Uncle so much! Too bad we couldn’t stay longer though.

My little madam is trying so hard to get the hang of eating with a spoon… not quite sure she gets it though! Oh well, she’ll get there in the end, no rush! 
New Nursery, Breastfeeding, Sleeping and other things
Happy February everyone! This is one of my favorite months! (Although not sure Abby would agree with me!) Not only is it my birthday month AND Valentine’s, it’s also our wedding anniversary month! It doesn’t get much better than that…:D
So we’ve been settling nicely into our new home and my new job although the lack of Internet bit hasn’t been great. We’re getting to know North Wales a little bit more and really it is such a lovely country with lots of wide open countryside! We’re definitely looking forward to the summer here! But what else have we been up to?
Sleeping through and Sleep training!
Well this year seems to keep getting better and better! My little angel is finally starting to sleep through on most nights – with a little help from mummy and daddy of course…
So Anjie had been doing ok-ish late November in the sleep department, waking up like once at night to have some milk then back to sleep. I thought, this is ok, I could work with this – but then she had chickenpox and everything changed, for the worse. She started sleeping quite poorly which is to be expected considering what she was going through. It got so bad she started sleeping in our room because she was that restless at night. Happy New Year! 12 Months Jabs, New Look & Job!!
Wow! This 2013 has been amazing already! Soooo much has gone on already! So much to be thankful for! Where do I start! Well first of all this is my new look…
I figured it was time for a new break and decided to do something drastic since it was a brand new year! So a massive hair chop was done! And my goodness the freedom!! I could go on and on about it . I don’t have to worry about what to do with my hair any more, I just get up and go! After makeup of course! While I was on the hair cutting spree I trimmed Anjie’s hair as well so it’s even all round now, I think she’s so much cuter now! Continue reading
Merry Christmas!!!
Just wanted to say a Merry Christmas to everyone! A bit late but better later than never, right?
Hope everyone had a lovely day! We had some friends over for dinner. Wasn’t quite like Anjie’s birthday party which never was as family was missing but just some close friends and we had a lovely time!
And I’ve also got a backlog of pictures we took of Anjie on her birthday with her absolutely lovely cake from Sarah at Cupcake crumbs. I’d used her before for Abby’s Andriod birthday cake so I was confident she would do a fine job but she absolutely outdid herself! I found the cake image online and she replicated it amazingly. It was so pretty we didn’t want to cut it! But when we finally did the inside was just as lovely! White chocolate mud cake! Amazing! Have a look for yourself!

Yes yes, I know right! my little girl is already having sleep overs! I could cry right now…
It wasn’t anything major though. We had to attend Abby’s company Christmas party down south near Birmingham and it was going to be an overnight do. Seeing as Grandma had gone we had to think, should hubby go without me or could we drop Anjie off with someone..?
