So last week Friday Anjie got her second set of vaccination at the baby clinic. My darling daughter took it like a champ and cried for a few seconds and that was that! I felt so proud. She had one on each thigh. Now this is the immunisation for 12 weeks and apparently there’s another at 16 weeks which is three!!! OMG!! What are they trying to do! Anyway we will cross that bridge when we get there…
We also went for a barbecue on sunday where we saw a totally new side to Anjie…
I came across this article on breastfeeding from a newborn baby’s POV and found it quite enlightening and interesting. Wish I had read this before I started breastfeeding because there were days I felt like my milk supply just wasn’t enough and it was hard! I talked about it in a previous post here. And like the article said my mum always suggested I include some formula as that’s what she did with all of us. But in the end it’s working out fine for everyone…

So Anjie turned 3 months today! Yippeeee! Ironically she’s been a tad bit cranky and clingy today, but thankfully, she’s asleep now… I took this picture earlier in the week and really love it so figured I’ll post it here! Oh and that’s pebbles, one of her first cuddly friends 
So what have we been up to this week?
So its been just over a month since my folks left and we have been surviving! In fact we’ve been doing pretty okay even if I do say so myself! Now I’m not trying to tempt fate here but Anjie has been a darling, and I’m thankful to God for this everyday…
